Aaliyah Dana Haaughton soared to prominence after the release of her debut album Age Ain't Nothing But A Number in the year 1994. She was only 15 at the time and the album became Gold. The collaboration that influential to R. Kelly's music, brought her into the spotlight. In 1996, Jermaine and Timbaland released Aaliyah's second album One In A Million. The album contained the single If Your Girls Only Knew, the top-selling single. With the debut of the album Aaliyah gained international attention for her work as an R&B artist. In 2000, she was in Romeo Must Die, a action/romance film starring Jet-Li. The role was offered to her when she was spotted by director Joel Silver at an awards show. The film she was in was the Anne Rice-based vampire film Queen of the Damned, it premiered in 2002. The Matrix Sequels followed, which featured Zee as the lead character. In 2001, 1999, 2002, and 2003 she was nominated to win four Grammy Awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is an Indian-American from the her first generation, of origin born in Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. Mann originates from her husband's name Mankad. She employs Aarti Man and Aarti Mahumdar as her official name. While her initial professional career was mostly dominated by small television and film performances, she rose to greater recognition in the latter half of 2000s. In addition to The Big Bang Theory, her notable other works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017.) In addition, she was a part of several commercials that included Volvo and other major automobile companies. She continues her acting career at Los Angeles, where she lives with her daughter and husband.
