Jeanie Marie Buss was born in America. Her current position is that as president of the Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA's majority owners. Buss is a native of California and was raised as part of a rich family. Jerry Buss is her father. He was an estate tycoon before becoming the manager of Lakers and other enterprises. When she was in the year 1972, her parents broke up in divorce and she was left feeling emotionally lost. When she was 19 years old, she was appointed the general manager of Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis club. Then, she established the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. She was president of the Great Western Forum, before being elected Vice President for the Lakers. Her father passed away in 2013, and his control over control of the Lakers was inherited by Buss as well as her siblings by a trust of the family which gave each sibling the same vote. Buss assumed the role of the president of Los Angeles Lakers. Buss also co-owns Women of Wrestling, a professional promotion of wrestling with its the headquarters located at Los Angeles.
